I had forgotten about it for a while and then I stumbled into Sikkil Gurucharan's album Maaya in which he has sung the same song.. but accompanied only with a piano..
It is very impressive.. Then I began to research it again and this time it is going to stick..Can't explain the mood this raga evokes..
